Jack Frost Parade
Holy Donut
Sunday, November 5, 2017
3:00-5:00PM
Our Youth Fellowship Group designed and built this year's float. They also designed and created the banners. The float is "Holy Donut."
The description of our Holy Donut themed float is:
Throughout scripture and the Christian faith, food brings us together in fellowship with God and with one another - whether it be the fruit of the Tree of Live in the Books of Genesis and Revelation, the Passover Meal and Holy Communion, or morning coffee and donuts. No matter what the meal, when Christ is at its center, we are whole.
We had 18 youth and 13 adults helping to build the float (for a total of 31 people). We had eleven days of building. As we combine the days, hours, and people involved in building the float, we calculated that it too over 200 hours to build the float and create the banners.
